Dog's personality -

Louie is gorgeous, truly the sweetest boy.
Walks well on lead, he is house trained, crate trained, great with other dogs, rides in a car with no issues.
Louie is really is pretty close to perfect, BUT he is initially extremely shy around new people.
NOTHING bad has ever happened to him, this is just the way he has always been, it just takes him a little time to trust people he doesn't know.
Once Louie learns to trust, he is the most adorable, loving cuddly boy.
At home, he is very loving and affectionate, fine with grandchildren and every dog that has ever come to his property.
He has never tried to bite, BUT he has growled at strangers who didn't approach him correctly.

Owner's notes - I am looking for the RIGHT home for him. He has a wonderful pedigree but because of his shyness he was never a show dog. .
I am not wanting money for him but I will be beyond picky before I say yes to anyone.
I am looking for his FOREVER home with dog experience, preferably sighthound experience.
You must have another dog at home (Bonus if its a whippet)
You MUST be willing to come meet him SEVERAL times so that he gets to know you and feels comfortable around you before you leave with him.
He WILL be on a contract stating you have received him at NO COST and he can NEVER be rehomed by you.
If anything ever happens he can ONLY COME BACK TO ME.
